A short walk from Portimão on the other side of the Arade river is the attractive fishing village of Ferragudo.

Ferragudo has retained its authentic charm and is a pleasant village to walk around. There you will see the everyday life of the fishermen as they tend to their nets and their boats and bring in the catch.

The great thing about a walking trip to Ferragudo is that you can also visit the very beautiful Praia Grande beach.

Once again, another fantastic place on the Algarve to pay a visit. A great budget day out from Portimão!
