While Praia da Luz has a wonderful beach, this is my favourite place to see the sunset, as you can see not only the beautiful village and the changing light but also the waves continuously reaching the shore.

Walking from the village to Rocha Negra to the east of the beach long the coast, you will pass a little plateau before reaching the viewpoint. To me, it’s the perfect place to see the village and the sunset at the same time. Go check it out if you get the chance.

This was also filmed during the COVID-19 period.
