For Veteran’s Day weekend of 2019 we took the long weekend to drive over to Prague while Nana was here visiting. Although it was a short visit we fit in many of the famous sights to include the St Charles Bridge, the Prague Castle and Basilica, the Old Square, and lots of wonderful food and treats, including the incredible chimney cakes, also known as trdelniks. We realized we were so busy enjoying this historical and beautiful city that we forgot to video much of it, but we did put together a quick video of some of the highlights we did happen to capture. One of the kids’ favorite parts was a meal at the Vytopna Railway Restaurant where the food and drinks are delivered by an elaborate system of electric trains...in Carson’s words “it was awesome!” We loved exploring Prague and would definitely go back for another visit once we are allowed to travel again.
