It's a shame that I did not get to take more videos of this city, was more into photography then. I uploaded as much footage as I could.

City that is suppose to be founded by Gaius Julius Caesar, but Celts and Germanic tribes might differ. Regardless, if it was ever lost or found, this city felt like it is almost abandoned because my friends and I arrived on the weekend! Yes, on a weekend! Found out from a barista in a cafe, she said that the city is quite empty once Thursday arrives til Sunday evening. Party starts on Sunday evening til Wednesday because this is the second biggest college town in Czech Republic (Brno is the largest). Most students leave to their home town on the weekends!!! Regardless, my friends and I still had lot of fun exploring this beautiful, interesting and spooky city.

Olomouc is located about 155 miles (250km) east of Prague OR 50 miles (80km) northeast of Brno (Capital of Moravia & second largest city in Czech), Train will take you about 2 hrs and 30 minutes from Prague OR 1 hour from Brno. If you visit Olomouc, you may consider checking out Brno and the town of Vyskov as well since they are within 1 hour train ride.

The city of Olomouc is known for it's UNESCO World Heritage site of the Holy Trinity Column, the astronomical clock which has be restore and rebuilt. My favorite part is that there are hardly much tourists! Fantastic! The city also features 2 main squares next to one another. You will see the statue of Gaius Julius Caesar on a horse. Figure out how the renovated astronomical clock works! Check out all the fountains around both squares! I dare you to try the Olomouc local cheese delicacy. The city has so many cafes and restaurants. Even if most of the stores ar closed on Sundays, you can count on the Turkish kebab stores to be opened!

Keep the Adventure and Curiosity Alive! Thank you for watching!
