As Nepelase economy shows Nepal is a poor and undeveloped country in South Asia and it has come in the list of most poorest countries where its PCI is 1070$ in 2020.Nepal lags development due to various reason one of main reason is climate and weather. It is located mainly in the Himalayas, but also includes parts of the Indo-Gangetic Plain. It is the 49th largest country by population and 93rd largest country by area.
Nepal is also said to be second richest country in water resources.
Despite this Nepal is the 28th poorest country in the world,it is due to that Nepal PCI is very low that is 1070 us dollars.

Nepal is the Himalayan country.About 83% of the land of Nepal is hilly and mountain and rest of those is terai region.Terai region of Nepal occupies 17% of total land.And about 53% of total population live on terai region.
Due to the difficult land topography and high number of natural disasters like flood,landslides, soil erosion, earthquake and so on had greatly affected the nepelese life.With this Nepal is undeveloped and poor country.
