Join us on an exciting journey as we explore some of Romania's most breathtaking volcanic and geological wonders in 2022. First, we visited the small town of Bazau, home to the Vulcanii Noroioși Pâclele Mari, a group of mud volcanoes that offer a unique and captivating sight. Then, we headed to the city of Iasi, where we'll visit the Salina Târgu Ocna, a salt mine that dates back to ancient times. We learnt about the history of the mine and how salt was extracted, and also got a chance to see the underground lakes and chapels. Finally, we ended our journey with a visit to the fresh water springs of Slanic-Moldova, where we tried the healing waters and enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings.
