In previous video we were taking Kyiv metro line and in this video you can see where it took us. We arrived to the Golden Gate (Zoloti Vorota) The Golden Gate was the main entrance to the city. This historical monument is the most important from the time of Kyivan Rus. It was in Kyiv at the time of Yaroslav the Wise in 1037. It was partially ruined by Mongols in 1240 and then covered with earth in 1750 and rediscovered in 1832 by archeologists. In 1980 it was reconstructed and now it is standing in the center of Kyiv, Ukraine as a main landmark.
