I got an opportunity to visit Khewra Salt Deposits of Pakistan , right now world's largest salt deposits with Poland reserves and Iran Salt reserves up behind. It was actually a Geological Field Trip Of UAJK session 19-23 under the beloved supervision of Phd Scholar Raja Jhanzeb And Syed Kamran Ali.

As you step inside the The khewra mine which can be seen behind in the group photo you step inside a world which needs to be admired. Being in the depth of Earth's interior almost 2500 to 3500 feat the first thought that came to my mind was "Who's the Creator?" This mighty deposit couldn't have come to this shape until and unless Allah all mighty is the Creator of such mighty obstacles. For the information of my viewers I'd like to share that the extraction of the salt has started from 1915 and is carried out till now due to its pinkish color and health benefits. Its started back when Alexander The Great visited but still 10% of the salt has been extracted and 90% reserves are still underneath. Khewra is famous tourism site as well accommodating a mosque , a first aid center and a electric tram to let the tourists explore the mine. Lets head to the conclusion that one of the biggest blessing of Allah almighty on our homeland are these reserves resulting in magnificent tourism trade and geological knowledge aswell. I'd suggest each of the viewer to visit it atleast once and admire the wonders of God by your own eye.
