I took a break from my Chisinau city tour to visit the Cricova wine caves with some fellow solo travellers. Thanks to our awesome guide Diana, we tried many wines in the 120km+ of wine caves, and explored the private collections of famous people (mostly politicians) such as Angela Merkel, Vladimir Putin and Prince Albert of Monaco.

Afterwards, we explored Cricova itself, failed to find lunch and hen took a taxi back to Chisinau bus station, stopping off at the coolest mosaic nus stop on the way!

We ate a dodgy meal at the bus station and finished up with a cheeky beer to settle our stomachs after all that wine.
