For any copyright, please send me a message. More countries have been removed from the Scottish travel exemption list in a bid to tackle the spike in Covid-19 cases. Turkey, Poland, Bonaire, St Eustatius and Saba have been removed from the Scottish Government's list of travel corridors. This means jet-setters arriving in Scotland from those countries after 4am on Saturday must self-isolate for 14 days, Justice Secretary Humza Yousaf has said. Scotland will also align with other UK nations and add Madeira and the Azores to the list of destinations now exempt from quarantine requirement, he added. Humza Yousaf said: "After latest 4 Nations call the following changes agreed: We will remove Turkey, Poland and Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba from the exempt list. "Scotland will align with other nations and add Madeira and Azores to exempt list. Coronavirus in Scotland "All changes come into effect from 4am Sat 3rd Oct. "As always decisions are driven by Public Health data which looks at a range of factors - prevalence, test positivity, importation data etc Reminder, if you choose to travel during the pandemic it will always carry risk.
