However the latest figures have shown that once again the rate has climbed to 21.4 over the last seven-day period up from last week's numbers.  Travellers coming back into England from the the islands of Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Mykonos, Crete, Santorini and Zakynthos are already required to self-isolate.  Poland is currently recording 21.3 cases and Sweden 24.7 per 100,000 people over the last week. Both are now over the threshold of 20 - which is the point when the UK Government considers imposing a mandatory two-week quarantine for arrivals.  While Italy is also creeping ever closer to the quarantine threshold, with a rate of 19.3 cases over the last seven days. However it could remain on the travel corridor if it manages to keep the number of cases in the amber zone.  However all four countries predicted to be at risk of being added to the travel quarantine list are all well below the England's current infection rate of 57.3 per 100,000 people.  There are still over 60 countries and territories on the 'green list' - where arrivals back into England are not required to self-isolate on return. But many of these have their own restrictions for travellers arriving from the UK - with some completely closed to visitors altogether.   This leaves only nine destinations Brits can travel to without any restrictions either side of their journey. But this list could be slashed to just five if all four countries are removed from the safe list.  The UK travel corridor list is expected to be reviewed on Thursday evening.  Announcements are usually made by Transport Secretary Grant Shapps, with any new restrictions being imposed from 4am the following Saturday.  Countries removed the list, which are then added to the quarantine list, mean that those from England must self-isolate for 14 days when they return to the UK - which ever British nation they land in.  But government says it is currently exploring ways to use testing to allow people to be released from quarantine earlier than the mandatory 14 days.
