13º Festival Órgão Algarve´20 | Entrevista Música XXI

A Associação Música XXI organizou este ano de 2020 e no mês de Novembro a 13.ª edição do Festival de Órgão do Algarve, nas Igrejas de Faro, Portimão, Loulé (Boliqueime) e Tavira. Treze anos a lembrarem-nos que estes instrumentos resistiram à passagem do tempo e hão de sobreviver-nos, orgulhosos e sós, no cimo do coro alto.

Para nos ajudar a apreciar as melodias sempre jovens que soam destes vetustos instrumentos, este ano os convidados foram os organistas: Pedro Monteiro, Beatriz Resendes, Rute Martins e João Vaz. De 6 de novembro até dia 28, sete concertos encheram com sons imortais interpretados por estes músicos virtuosos os magníficos tubos dos órgãos.

Este ano num formato reduzido, mas não menos digno, escutou-se a 13.ª edição do Festival de Órgão do Algarve, seguindo-se à risca o plano de contingência aprovado pela Direção Geral de Saúde.

No final do evento, em tempo de balanço, tivemos oportunidade de falar com a responsável da Associação Música XXI, entidade organizadora, Ana Oliveira e com a Diretora do Festival Patrícia Martins, que fizeram para a Mais Algarve o balanço final do evento.

O Festival de Órgão do Algarve 2020 contou com os apoios da Direção Regional de Cultura do Algarve e dos Municípios de Faro, Loulé, Portimão e Tavira, com o apoio à divulgação da Região de Turismo do Algarve e com os parceiros de comunicação Antena 2, Sul Informação, Rua FM e Mais Algarve. Contou ainda com a parceria da Diocese do Algarve, do Cabido da Sé de Faro, da Ordem do Carmo de Faro e das Paróquias de Portimão, Boliqueime e Tavira.

Associação Música XXI organized this year of 2020 and in November the 13th edition of the Algarve Organ Festival, in the churches of Faro, Portimão, Loulé (Boliqueime) and Tavira. Thirteen years reminding us that these instruments have withstood the passage of time and will survive us, proud and alone, at the top of the high choir.

To help us appreciate the always young melodies that sound from these ancient instruments, this year the guests were the organists: Pedro Monteiro, Beatriz Resendes, Rute Martins and João Vaz. From the 6th of November until the 28th, seven concerts filled the magnificent organ tubes with immortal sounds performed by these virtuous musicians.

This year in a reduced format, but no less dignified, the 13th edition of the Algarve Organ Festival was heard, strictly following the contingency plan approved by the General Health Directorate.

At the end of the event, on balance, we had the opportunity to speak with the head of Associação Música XXI, the organizing entity, Ana Oliveira and with the Director of the Festival Patrícia Martins, who made the final balance of the event for Mais Algarve.
