João Vaz, encerrou no Sábado dia 28 de Novembro de 2020, na Sé catedral de Faro a 13ª Edição do Festival de Órgão Algarve´20, evento organizado pela Associação Música XXI e que decorreram também, para além das Igrejas de Faro (Carmo e Sé), em Portimão, Loulé (Boliqueime) e Tavira.

João Vaz realizou os estudos musicais em Lisboa, Saragoça (Espanha) e Évora. Mantém uma intensa atividade internacional, como concertista, docente ou membro de júri de concursos. Efetuou mais de uma dezena de gravações discográficas a solo. Leciona na Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. É diretor artístico de festivais e séries de concertos e organista titular da Igreja de São Vicente de Fora.

No final deste concerto, tivemos a oportunidade de falar com João Vaz, que fez para a Mais Algarve o balanço do seu concerto em particular e do evento em geral.

João Vaz, closed on Saturday 28th November 2020, at the Cathedral of Faro, the 13th Edition of the Algarve'20 Organ Festival, an event organised by the Music Association XXI and which also took place, in addition to the churches of Faro (Carmo and Sé), in Portimão, Loulé (Boliqueime) and Tavira.

João Vaz did his musical studies in Lisbon, Zaragoza (Spain) and Évora. He maintains an intense international activity, as a concert performer, teacher or member of the jury of competitions. He has made more than a dozen solo recordings. He teaches at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. He is the artistic director of festivals and concert series and organist titular of the Church of São Vicente de Fora.

At the end of this concert, we had the opportunity to talk with João Vaz, who gave a balance of his concert in particular and the event in general.
